Any wine you have placed carries a Locate button. Tap it and the 3D view opens with every placed bottle of that wine lit up — you never have to open a storage and hunt for it yourself.
⭐ Requires a paid plan. Locate never appears on a free collection, because there are no 3D positions to find.
No Locate button is an answer, not a fault. It shows only when at least one bottle of that wine sits in a slot. If it is missing, that wine has no 3D position yet — so tap Add to 3D position instead of looking for it in the cellar.

Every one of these is multi-bottle. If you own six of a wine and have placed four, Locate highlights all four at once, so you can pick whichever is easiest to reach.

Without opening the 3D view
Three things answer "where is it?" without loading a 3D scene at all:
Read the coordinate off the bottle. Every placed bottle shows its section and a coordinate like
R3, C5, D1— row, column, depth. That is enough to walk to it.Filter your collection by Sections to list everything in one rack or shelf — a stocktake of that unit.
Filter by Without a 3D position for the opposite question: which bottles you have not placed yet.
Android and web
Android has both Locate and Locate all — on a wine's page, on a selection of bottles, and inside a case.
On app.invintory.com, Locate opens the same highlighted view from a wine's sidebar, from a selection of bottles, and from the activity feed.
If you run InVintory on a Mac you will see 3D view not supported. Please use an iPhone, iPad, or your web browser. That is expected — open the web app instead.
