Vincent is an AI sommelier built into InVintory. It answers from your own bottles rather than a generic wine database — so it can tell you what to open tonight — and it can add, update or remove bottles for you when you tell it to.
⭐ Free collections get one Vincent conversation, with as many messages in it as you like. Starting further conversations, and the Ask Vincent button on a wine's own page, need a paid plan. Home → your collection name → Collection settings → Subscription shows what your plan includes.

Vincent only sees the collection you currently have open. Switch collections and it answers about that one instead.
What Vincent can do
As well as answering questions, Vincent can change your collection: add bottles, edit details such as price, notes, cellar or drink window, and mark bottles consumed, gifted or sold. It confirms with you first, works in small batches, and will only act on bottles it has just looked up in front of you. Changing anything needs edit access to the collection, so a view-only collaborator gets a polite refusal.
Vincent can move a bottle to a different cellar or fridge, but not into a particular slot inside one. It reads where a bottle sits — down to the shelf and row — to work out which bottle you mean, but has no way to change it. What Vincent cannot do
Vincent cannot buy or source wine, browse the web, read spreadsheets or exports from other apps, change your account or billing, or contact anyone for you. Asked for any of those, it says so plainly instead of pretending.

Every wine's own page also has an Ask Vincent button at the top, which starts a conversation that already knows that wine. On iPhone the Ask Vincent bar steps aside while you are on a wine's page or selecting bottles, because that button takes over.
To have Vincent read a restaurant list, open the chat on iPhone or iPad, tap + and choose Scan a Wine List. Android's + attaches a photo from the camera or your library instead, and there is no wine-list scan on the web app.
