InVintory catalogues every bottle you own, tells you which ones are ready to drink, tracks what they are worth, and maps where each bottle physically sits. This article is the map of the app: what to do first, and where everything lives.
One account, three places to use it
You sign in to the same account and the same collection everywhere. A bottle you add on your phone is on your laptop by the time you open it, so there is no "main" device to pick and nothing to sync by hand.
iPhone and iPad — the complete app, and the platform every feature reaches first. This article describes it.
Android — in open beta. It shows an Invintory Android Beta banner with a Report bug button at the top of the home screen, and it is still catching up to iPhone, so something you read about here may not have arrived there yet.
The web app at app.invintory.com — the same collection on a big screen. Best for importing a spreadsheet, editing a lot of bottles at once, and reading analytics.
Your first three steps
While your collection is empty, the home screen leads with a Get started card holding the four ways in. It disappears once your first bottle lands.

Name your cellars and fridges first. Imports file bottles into storages by name, so creating them before you import saves rework later.
Get the bottles in. Search our database, scan a label with the camera, or import from CellarTracker, Vivino or a spreadsheet. Reviewing or cancelling an import is on the web app, at app.invintory.com.
Ask Vincent something. Vincent is the AI sommelier, and he works from your actual bottles — "what should I drink tonight", "what pairs with steak". He does more than answer: he can add, remove and update bottles for you when you ask. Meet Vincent, your AI wine assistant introduces him properly.
The home screen
Your collection name sits in the top left, with a badge showing its plan — tap it to switch collection or open Collection settings. Top right are the Reminders bell and a gear menu holding Account settings, Customize home and the Help Center.
Below the search bar are your headline figures — Bottles and Market value. Tap ⋯ beside Market value to hide your values from view, or to read where the number comes from. Vincent is not on this screen: on iPhone the Ask Vincent bar is part of the tab bar, not the home screen.
Everything below that is yours to arrange
The rest of the home screen is nine sections you can reorder or switch off from Customize home: Quick filters, Cellars & fridges, Ready to drink, Deliveries, Saved Lists, Past Bottles, Recent Activity, Analytics, and Plans and tips.
Two are worth finding on day one. Cellars & fridges shows a card per storage with its bottle count and open slots — tap one to open it, or to build its sections and view them in 3D. Ready to drink lists every bottle currently inside its drinking window, which is the section most people end up opening the most.

The + button
The + button opens a grid of nine shortcuts: Add, Remove, Scan wine, Search, Create review, Create list, Create menu, Create delivery and Scan CellarSticker. Press and hold any tile until the grid wiggles, drag it where you want it, then tap Save to finish.
Android arranges this differently: five tabs — Home, Collection, a camera button in the middle, Reviews and Profile — with the same jobs behind the camera. The web app puts the equivalent list down the left-hand side.
Some features — analytics, the 3D cellar view, custom fields — come with a paid plan. Rather than reading a plan list, check what yours includes: Home → your collection name → Collection settings → Subscription.
