Open the storage, tap ⋯ and choose Delete. If it still holds bottles, the app asks what to do with them before anything is removed.
⚠️ Deleting a storage without transferring its bottles deletes those bottles. They are not moved to Past Bottles and they cannot be recovered. If you want to keep the wine, choose Transfer — it is offered on the same screen.
✅ Your past bottles are kept. Only bottles still sitting in the storage are affected. Anything you had already consumed, gifted, sold or otherwise removed from it stays in Past Bottles, with its reviews and its removal details, after the storage is gone.
On iPhone and iPad
On Home, tap the storage’s card, or tap Edit beside Cellars & fridges to see them all.
Tap ⋯ in the top right, then Delete.
If it holds bottles, choose Transfer n Bottles or Delete Storage & n Bottles.
After Transfer, tap the storage the bottles should move to and tap Yes. After Delete Storage, type
DELETEand tap Continue.
Home → tap a storage → ⋯ → Delete → Transfer 12 Bottles → pick a storage → Yes
Deleting needs Admin access to the collection. With editor or viewer access the app answers You do not have the necessary permissions.

When Delete won’t go through

Android
The same two choices, reached from the gear icon in the top right of the storage: Delete, then Transfer n Bottles or Delete Storage & n Bottles, then type DELETE.
Web
On app.invintory.com, open the storage from Cellars & Fridges in the left sidebar and click More, then Delete storage. Type delete to delete the bottles with it, or click Transfer n bottles, choose where they go, and type confirm. The web wants both words in lower case.
