Purchase price is stored on the individual bottle, not on the wine — open the bottle, tap Edit, and change Price under Purchase Details.
Each bottle carries its own currency
Beside the amount is a currency code you can tap. Enter what you actually paid, in the currency you actually paid it in — the app converts it into your display currency wherever it adds prices up, and keeps the original on the bottle. Two bottles of the same wine can hold prices in two currencies without either being wrong.
We never fill this field in for you. If a bottle has no purchase price, nobody has entered one.
Saving a price on a bottle with no purchase date stamps today's date on it, so set the date at the same time if you know it.

One bottle, on iPhone & iPad
Open the wine from your Collection.
Tap the bottle you want in its bottle list.
Tap Edit.
Under Purchase Details, tap the currency code if you need to change it, then type the amount into Price.
Tap Save.
Several bottles at once
On the wine, tap More → Select Bottles and tap the circle beside each bottle. To take every bottle of the wine, tap the circle beside it in your collection list instead.
Tap Edit, set Price, and tap Save.
iPhone and iPad edit up to 500 bottles in one go. Use this for a case bought at one price — not for bottles that cost different amounts, since they all end up on the number you type.

On Android
The same path: open the wine, open the bottle, tap edit, then Purchase Details → Price. Tapping the currency code opens the currency list.
On the web app
In your collection table, click the wine's Purchase Price cell.
Enter the amount, pick a currency, and save.
Underneath it you get a Converted: line in your display currency. Where a wine's bottles hold prices in more than one currency the cell says so, rather than averaging them into a number that would mean nothing. To price a single bottle, select it in the bottle list on the right and click Edit.
