Ask Vivino for an export, wait for it, unzip the download, and upload the cellar.csv file inside it at app.invintory.com. From there the matching runs automatically — no queue, and nobody reviewing it.
⚠️ Vivino's own export is the slow part, and it is slower than you would think. Our guide warns that “the process of exporting from Vivino can take a long time” — its own example is roughly twenty minutes for five wines. You start the export, close the tab, and come back later to download it. Nothing on our side has begun yet.
Getting the file out of Vivino
Log into your Vivino account and click your avatar, then Settings.
Open the Account Management tab, scroll down, and start an export.
Come back when it is ready and download it. You get a zip file.
Unzip it and find the file called
cellar.csv. That is the one to upload.
Uploading it to InVintory
Open app.invintory.com, go to Import Bottles and choose Vivino.
Page through the four picture steps to the drop zone at the end, or click Browse Files.
Drop
cellar.csvin and click Ready to Import.
💡 Upload cellar.csv exactly as Vivino wrote it. We read Vivino's own column headings, so renaming or deleting one is refused with “This file does not contain the correct columns”. If you want to edit or add anything, do it as a spreadsheet import instead — that flow accepts your own column names.

Because the file has no size or storage column, every bottle arrives as a 750ml bottle in a cellar called My Cellar. Move them and correct the sizes afterwards, or use a spreadsheet import if you would rather set all of that up front.
This one is web only
Web: app.invintory.com → Import Bottles → Import from → Vivino
There is no file picker in the apps. Tapping Vivino on iPhone, iPad or Android shows Check your email and sends you a link to this page instead, so you can finish it on a computer where the zip file already is.
