A section showing the InVintory logo instead of a small 3D picture simply has no snapshot saved yet. Open that section's Modify step and tap Save — the picture is taken and appears straight away.
The picture is cosmetic. A section with the logo works exactly like one with a 3D preview — the same slots, the same coordinates, the same Locate results. Nothing is broken and no bottle is affected.
The preview is a photograph of your own 3D model, taken on the device the moment a section is created or modified and then saved to that section. A section that has never been through the 3D builder — or that was built before previews existed — has no photograph to show, so the app falls back to the logo.
Getting the picture back
On the home screen, under Cellars & fridges, tap the storage.
Scroll to Sections and find the one showing the logo.
Tap its ⋯ menu and choose Modify.
Wait for the 3D model to finish loading, then tap Save. You do not have to change anything.
Storage → Sections → ⋯ → Modify → Save
The same trick works on app.invintory.com: open the storage, find the section, and run it through Modify and save. Repeat per section — there is no way to refresh them all at once.
If Modify is not in the menu
What you see | What it means | What to do |
Modify is in the ⋯ menu | You built this section, so you can rebuild and re-save it | Follow the steps above |
Create, Modify, Duplicate and Delete are all missing | Our team modelled this storage for you, so its sections are tied to that model and cannot be reshaped in the app | Email support@invintory.com and we will refresh it for you |
Wine cases stay editable either way, so a case inside a storage we modelled is still yours to re-save.
