Here’s how to make the most of InVintory widgets on your iPhone or iPad:
What Is a Widget?
A widget is a small, interactive panel you can add to your phone’s home screen. InVintory widgets are designed to give you quick access to your wine collection and powerful tools like Quick Add, Scan, and Vincent.

How to Add an InVintory Widget
Press and hold anywhere on your home screen until the icons jiggle.
Tap the “Edit” icon in the top left corner.
Tap “Add Widget.”
In the search bar, type “InVintory.”
Swipe to explore the different widget styles:
Storage Summary – Displays an overview of a collection or storage, with a quick “Add Bottle” button.
Quick Actions – Gives you instant access to Scan, Search, or Vincent to add wines.
Once you've chosen your preferred style, tap “Add Widget” at the bottom.
Drag the widget to your desired spot on the home screen and release.
How to Configure Your Widget
Press and hold the InVintory widget.
Tap “Edit Widget.”
Select:
Collection – Choose which collection the widget pulls from (essential if you collaborate on more than one).
Storage – View all storages within a collection or focus on a specific storage (like a particular cellar or fridge).
Full 3D Model – For Elite only, preview your entire 3D cellar or fridge.
Adding Multiple Widgets
Want quick access to multiple storages? You can add more than one widget:
Press and hold your home screen.
Tap the “Edit” icon in the top left.
Tap “Add Widget.”
Search for InVintory again.
Choose your desired widget style and tap “Add Widget.”
Repeat as needed to set up the perfect home screen for your collection.
How Often Do Widgets Update?
Widgets update every hour by default.
If you make changes on a different device (e.g. desktop or tablet), it may take up to an hour for those changes to show in the widget.
If you're updating bottles on the same device as the widget, you should see changes within a few minutes.
Note: If your phone is in Low Power Mode, widget refreshes may be delayed.
