InVintory has three Home Screen widgets for iPhone and iPad — Storage summary, Quick actions and Full 3D Model — and you add them like any iOS widget: touch and hold the Home Screen, tap Edit, tap Add Widget, then search for InVintory.
⭐ Full 3D Model requires Elite. That widget only offers collections on the Elite plan. Storage summary and Quick actions work on every plan.
Full 3D Model is its own widget, not a setting inside another one. Each comes in exactly one size, so there is no size to pick.
Add a widget
Touch and hold an empty part of your Home Screen until the icons jiggle.
Tap Edit in the top left, then tap Add Widget.
Type InVintory in the search field and tap the app.
Swipe between the three widgets, then tap Add Widget.
Drag it where you want it, then tap Done.
Repeat to add one widget per storage.
Home Screen → hold → Edit → Add Widget → InVintory
What each one shows
Widget | Size | Shows |
Storage summary | Small | A storage name, its bottle count, slots open, and a + button. The background is your 3D render, your storage photo, or its colour. |
Quick actions | Small | Three buttons — Scan, Search and Vincent. |
Full 3D Model | Large | A render of one 3D cellar or fridge, with its bottle count and a + button. |
Tapping a summary widget opens that storage in the app. Tapping + goes straight to adding bottles there.
Choose the collection and storage
Touch and hold the widget and tap Edit Widget.
Pick a Collection.
Pick a Storage. Storage summary also offers All storages, which totals the whole collection.
Full 3D Model lists only storages that already have a 3D model built; if it says No 3D cellar available, build the model in VinLocate first. Quick actions has nothing to edit.
Why the numbers look old
The widget asks iOS to refresh about once an hour, and the app requests an immediate refresh when your collection changes while it is open. iOS decides when those refreshes actually run — it budgets them across every widget on your phone, so one can sit longer than an hour, and Low Power Mode delays it further. Stale figures are almost always iOS pacing, not a fault. Open the app to bring it current.
If the network is unreachable, the widget keeps showing your last known figures rather than an error.
If it shows a message instead of numbers
Signed out — tap Sign in on the widget.
No longer exists — that storage or collection was deleted. Touch and hold the widget to edit or delete it.
Other platforms
Widgets are on iPhone and iPad. There are no Lock Screen versions. Widgets aren't on Android yet, and there is nothing to add on app.invintory.com.
