You can export your collection as a CSV file from the iPhone or iPad app, from Android, or from the web app — and the file is ready immediately. Nothing is queued, nothing is emailed, and there is no wait.
What the file contains
Every export offers two groupings.
Grouped by bottle | Grouped by label |
One row for every single bottle. | One row for every wine, bottle size and storage combination, with a Quantity column. |
Adds purchase date and source, tags, personal notes, bottle code, barcode, ABV, and each bottle's section, row, column and depth. | Adds average and total purchase price and market price for each group. |
Both files carry wine name, vintage, wine type, grapes, producer, country, region, storage name, size, purchase price, market price and drink window.
⭐ Custom field columns are included on any paid plan. Selling price, markup and profit columns are included on the Hospitality plan.
The export follows what is on your screen. Filter or select first and you get exactly those bottles; export with nothing filtered or selected and you get the whole collection. Past bottles are never in a collection export — run one from the Past bottles screen instead, where the file gains removal date, reason and note plus your latest rating and review.
On iPhone and iPad
Open Collection and apply a filter if you only want part of it.
Tap the circle beside a wine to start selecting, or tap Select all above the list.
Tap the … button in the bar at the bottom.
Under Export, tap Download CSV, then Grouped by bottle or Grouped by label.
The share sheet opens: tap Save to Files to keep it on your device, or send it by Mail, Messages or AirDrop.
Collection → Select all → … → Download CSV → Grouped by bottle
On a quick filter, tap the gear icon in the top right and choose Export CSV to export the whole filter without selecting anything.
On Android
Select bottles, tap the … button in the bottom bar, then choose Download CSV to save the file (Android asks you to pick the folder) or Share CSV to send it straight to another app. Both then ask for Grouped by bottle or Grouped by label.
On the web
Open your collection at app.invintory.com.
Filter the table, or tick the bottles you want.
Click Export CSV above the table.
Choose Group by bottle or Group by label — each option names what it will export, your selection or the entire collection.
If filters are applied, confirm with Export … bottles, or click Remove filters and export to take everything.
The file downloads to your browser, named after your collection and today's date.
