Deleting your account is immediate and permanent. It takes your sign-in with it, along with the collections you own and everything in them, and we cannot bring any of it back.
⚠️ Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Apple and Google bill you directly and we cannot cancel on your behalf, so cancel it with them first — otherwise the charges carry on after the account is gone.
There is no waiting period and no undo. The moment you confirm, your sign-in is deleted and the name and email on the account are scrambled, so support cannot restore it either.
If you only want to get off this device, use Log out instead. It sits just above Delete Account on the same screen, signs you out, and deletes nothing — sign back in any time with the same method.
Before you delete
Cancel your subscription if Apple or Google bills you.
Export your collection if you want a copy of your bottles. You cannot ask us for one afterwards.
Settle who keeps the wine if it should not go with the account. Add them as a collaborator, or email us before you delete and we can move the collection to their account.
What goes, and what stays
What | What happens to it |
Collections you own | Gone, with every bottle, cellar, photo, note and history entry in them |
Collections shared with you | Untouched. You are removed as a collaborator; the owner keeps everything |
Your public reviews | Stop appearing to the community |
A subscription we bill you for | Cancelled — your billing record goes with the account |
An App Store or Play subscription | Keeps billing until you cancel it with Apple or Google |
Getting any of it back | Not possible, by you or by us |
