When you mark bottles as Consumed on iPhone or iPad, the confirmation offers Remind Later. Tap it and InVintory sends you a notification about a day later, and keeps the wine on a list until you write the note.
The offer only appears when every bottle you just removed is the same wine and vintage, and only when the reason was Consumed. Clear out three different wines at once and there is no prompt and no reminder — write those reviews from the wine's own page instead.
Setting a reminder
On Home, tap Remove, pick your bottles, leave the reason on Consumed and tap Confirm.
A Bottle consumed message appears with two buttons: Create Review and Remind Later.
Tap Remind Later.
The first time, iOS asks whether InVintory may send notifications. Allow it, or the reminder waits on the list but never buzzes.
Where your reminders wait
Tap the bell at the top of Home. The number on it counts the wines waiting on you.
Each row shows the vintage and wine name, and how long ago you drank it — Consumed 2 bottles, 3 days ago.
Reminders belong to the collection you have open, so switching collections shows that collection's reminders instead. Only Remind Later puts a wine on this list — consuming a bottle without tapping it leaves nothing to come back to.
Clearing one
Write the review. Tap the reminder, fill in the composer and post — the reminder clears itself.
Drop it. Swipe left on the row and tap Dismiss. That cancels the notification too, and the reminder does not come back.
Turning the offer off
If you would rather never be asked, switch off Review Prompt. Bottles still record as consumed; you simply get the usual confirmation instead of the two buttons.
Home → gear icon → Account settings → Review Prompt
Where it works
Review reminders are on iPhone and iPad only. They are not in the Android app yet, and not on app.invintory.com.
Home → Remove → Consumed → Confirm → Remind Later
Home → bell → tap a reminder → write the review
