Understanding InVintory plans

The four InVintory plans side by side, what every plan includes, and where to see the one your collection is on.

InVintory has four plans — Free, Premium, Elite and Enterprise — and the plan belongs to the collection rather than to you, so everyone who shares a collection works with the same one.

Your wine is never tied to a plan. Every bottle, tasting note, photo, price and review you have entered stays in your collection on every plan, free included. A plan decides which tools you can open, never whether your collection is still there.

A few notes on that table. The average critic score for a wine shows on every plan — it is the individual reviews behind it that need a paid plan. Elite and Enterprise also come with help from our team, such as importing a large collection or modelling your cellar in 3D; those are services rather than switches in the app, so the plan screen is where the current offer is written down. Enterprise is set up with us rather than bought in the app, and it is shaped around how a collection is used — a restaurant tracking selling prices and margins needs different tools from a club sharing storage with its members, so that last row is a summary rather than a checklist. Ask us and we will tell you what your collection would get.

Premium and Elite collections also get a monthly summary of your collection from Vincent, by email and in the app.

What every plan includes

The free plan is a real product rather than a trial, and a good deal of InVintory is not gated at all. Adding bottles by scanning a label, searching our wine database, writing reviews, setting a reminder to review a wine you have drunk, past bottles, the activity feed, saved lists, exporting to CSV, market values on individual wines and collaborators all work on every plan. Understanding the free plan covers that in full.

Where to see your plan

Home → collection name → Collection settings → Subscription

On iPhone and iPad, tap your collection's name at the top of the home screen, tap Collection settings, and read the Subscription row. It names your plan and the date it renews. On a free collection it reads Free.

Android: Profile → Settings → Collections → your collection → Subscription
Web: app.invintory.com → Settings → your collection → General → Subscription

Only the collection owner can change the plan. An admin or a collaborator who taps the row is told to contact the owner.
