The Wine Guide is the reference page behind every wine — how it tastes, when to drink it, what critics and other members thought, and who made it. Open it from any wine.
You do not need to own the bottle. The guide works on anything in our catalogue, so you can read a wine up before you buy it. Open a wine you do not own and the guide is the page you land on.
⭐ Critic Scores require a paid plan. Without one that one section sits blurred behind an upgrade card. Every other section works on every plan.
Opening it
Open the wine — from your collection, from search, or from a review.
Tap Wine Guide, beside Add at the bottom of the wine's page.
On Android the button reads Wine guide. On app.invintory.com, click the bottle to open its panel, then click Wine guide.

What is on the page
Sections only appear when we hold that information for the wine, so a well-documented Bordeaux shows more than an obscure bottling. The year at the top left switches vintage, and the page reloads for the year you pick.

Summary | Our write-up of the wine, marked Generated by Vincent on its date, then What the producer says. In English, a play button reads it aloud. |
Structure | Body, acidity, sweetness and tannin as meters, with the wine type and its alcohol level. |
Grapes | Every grape in the blend, each with a description you can open in full. |
Market price history | What the wine is worth, and how that has moved. |
Drink Window | The years we think it is at its best. |
Pairings and Decanting | Foods that suit it, and whether to decant. |
Region and Producer | Where it comes from and who made it, each with a write-up — plus other wines from the same producer. |
Winemaking | Harvest, ageing, maturation, method and closure, where we know them. |
Critic Scores | The critics' scores and their tasting notes. |
Reviews | What InVintory members said about this wine and this vintage. |
What else the page can do
Jump to, at the bottom left, lists the sections and scrolls straight to one.
Ask Vincent, at the top, starts a conversation that already knows this wine.
The bookmark saves the wine to a list — useful for a wine you do not own yet.
Add puts bottles in your collection; the ⋯ menu also offers Review, Add to deliveries, Shop, Photos and Report incorrect data.
If your app language is not English, Translate appears in that menu and turns the write-ups into your language.
